The OCRC serves primarily as a rental listing service for landlords. However, we also have a variety of housing-related resources for students and others visiting McMaster on a temporary basis. Come in to the office to pick up a copy of the Hamilton Bus Route Map, inquire about referrals to local legal clinics, and of course to view the full listings in-person. We’re always glad to answer your questions and assist in your quest for temporary housing!

- On side streets, paying close attention to date and time restrictions

- On campus for a fee ranging from $5.00/hour to $20.00 for the day

Don’t be afraid to explore the Westdale and Main Street West areas. You will find many great eateries, shops, grocery stores and financial institutions
What is SWHAT?
The Student Walk Home Attendant Team (SWHAT) is a volunteer service within the McMaster Students Union that will walk or bus with students during the evening hours 7 days a week. No matter the weather, our walkers can walk with you to your destination while providing safety and company (we also have umbrellas to help keep you dry!).
